Aged for 4 months in 500-litre terracotta amphorae produced in Tuscany
The deep, intense tannins of Cabernet Franc are tamed by the minimal oxygenation provided by the porosity of the terracotta. On the palate, it's a revelation of dense, silky substance. The aromatic neutrality of the amphora allows the subtle minerality of these grapes grown on flinty clay to express itself.

AOC Bergerac & Montravel
Since 1977, Dubard vineyards have been established in Montravel, a prestigious appellation west of Bergerac. Asteria limestone, an extension of the St Emilion plateau, forms eroded reliefs. Our vineyards stretch across these fertile, draining terraces on the banks of the Dordogne, in the heart of a rare polycultural landscape. This natural setting, which we are keen to highlight, is reinforced by our level 3 certification, high environmental value.
