Henri IV on our region

LES GOUYATS

AOC BERGERAC & MONTRAVEL

As young kids from the Périgord region known as the "Gouyats", Gregory and Bastien roamed the countryside, indulging in the simple pleasures of their age. Through this wine, they wanted to pay homage to those light-hearted times, synonymous with pleasure, still vivid in their memories and those of the Dubard family, winemakers from father to son. Predestined for the vine and wine trades, their ancestors used the Gouyat to prune the vines during the summer months. What could be more natural than to taste the Gouyats (or this IGP Périgord), fresh, fruity wines that are the hallmark of their preferred region?

DOMAINE DU GOUYAT

AOC BERGERAC & MONTRAVEL

Today, the vineyards cover more than 100 ha on the right bank of the Dordogne: 85 ha in Bergerac-Montravel, 8.50 ha in Lalande de Pomerol and 8.50 ha in Puisseguin Saint Emilion. The diversity of the grape varieties and the identity of the terroirs are expressed in the wines, against a backdrop of their own personal touch. Here, the Dubard family is committed to preserving the environment in order to continue writing its history.

CHÂTEAU LAULERIE

AOC BERGERAC & MONTRAVEL

Nestled in the heart of an undulating landscape dotted with woods, bastides and vineyards, Château Laulerie's terroirs illustrate the diversity of an unspoilt natural environment. The typical Périgord farmhouse, with its enclosed courtyard and 17th-century dovecote, betrays the nobility of its origins. In White, Rosé and Red, Château Laulerie wines offer the unique harmony that results from the alliance between the mildness of a contrasting climate and the complexity of a limestone soil.

CHÂTEAU LA CROIX ROMANE

AOC LALANDE DE POMEROL

Situated on a gravelly hilltop where clay and sand are skilfully blended, our 8.5 ha vineyard produces wines with profiles that are both dense and delicate. Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon have earned their place in the kingdom of Merlot. Château la Croix Romane tells the story of Lalande de Pomerol's ancient winemaking tradition. A pilgrimage stopover, Lalande de Pomerol invites you to stop the hum of the world and taste its secrets.

CLOS DES GRANDS MOINES

AOC LALANDE DE POMEROL

Protected from the oceanic influences of the Southwest, the Lalande de Pomerol terroir enjoys a warm, sunny microclimate. The "Grands Moines" sector is located on an astonishing gravel-clay ridge, less than 2 km from the famous Pomerol plateau. The vineyard gives pride of place to Merlot (80%), with smaller proportions of Cabernet Franc (10%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). The wine offers a subtle nose of fresh fruit and menthol, while the palate reveals dense, silky tannins.

CHÂTEAU DUBARD BEL-AIR

AOC PUISSEGUIN SAINT-EMILION

The village of Puisseguin stands on the limestone plateau that extends the St Emilion plateau to the east. Our 8.5 ha vineyard is distinguished by a higher proportion of limestone, which is expressed in deep, elegant wines dominated by Merlot. The Sacré-Coeur medallion on the Château Bel Air bottle pays homage to the cult of the Sacred Heart in the former parish of Puisseguin. "Surgam et Ibo": "I will rise and I will go": this is the motto of our Puisseguin, which loudly proclaims the personality of this terroir.

CHÂTEAU VIEUX BARRAIL

AOC PUISSEGUIN SAINT-EMILION

Puisseguin comes from the Occitan word Puy which means "mountain" and SeguinCharlemagne's lieutenant, who settled here in the early 9th century.
Barrail, which originally refers to an enclosed plot of land surrounded by hedges, is the name of an area in the commune of Puisseguin where our vineyard is located. Here we produce Château Vieux Barrail, a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc that shows great character and subtlety.

CRÉMANT DUBARD

Our Crémant is made from hand-picked grapes. The winemaking process follows the principles of the traditional method. Bottling, ageing on laths for at least 10 months, and manual riddling take place in cellars dug into the Bordeaux subsoil in the Middle Ages.
