Over 40 years ago, the Dubard family chose this land and has never left it since. In 2008, Vignobles Dubard took on a new dimension with the arrival of the 2nd generation, Grégory, an engineer and oenologist. As a team, they create and produce a range of wines with their feet in the vineyard and their heads in the stars.
Today, the vineyards cover more than 100 ha on the right bank of the Dordogne: 85 ha in Bergerac-Montravel, 8.50 ha in Lalande de Pomerol and 8.50 ha in Puisseguin Saint Emilion. The diversity of the grape varieties and the identity of the terroirs are expressed in the wines, against a backdrop of their own personal touch. Here, the Dubard family is committed to preserving the environment in order to continue writing its history.
Fascinated by the world of wine and the art of living that goes with it, Grégory draws inspiration from the whole range of terroirs available to him to create wines with distinctive profiles. Observing, smelling, tasting, listening to his desires, his intuitions; imposing great rigor on himself, and blazing his own trail.
Beyond simple continuity, Grégory aspires to write another page in the family adventure, with a quest for excellence at every step. Since 2008, his ambition has guided the expansion of the Dubard vineyards in the Bordeaux region into prestigious appellations, the restructuring of the vineyards, the regular creation of new cuvées, and the awarding of level 3 High Environmental Value certification... Their know-how is now recognized in France and internationally in over 20 countries.
Creating wines only makes sense if we can share the emotions that brought them to life.
